The Provider list can be used as a quick search/filter tool by using the Filter List drop down control.

The Filter List has two modes: Predefined Filter mode and Filter As You Type mode

Predefined Filter mode:

By clicking on the downward pointing triangle on the right side of the Filter List, you can show a list of available predefined filters. These represent the most common ways people need to search for a provider. To activate any of the predefined filters, simply click on the name of it and it will be applied.

For filters that require additional input (such as By Privilege), clicking on an item in the list will open a secondary window for your additional input.

Predefined Filters:

Filter	Secondary Window	Description
Show All	(none)	Restores list to show all records (cancels filtering)
By Privilege		Filters the providers list to only show providers who have the selected privilege assigned.
By Department		Filters the providers list to only show providers who are assigned to the selected department.
By Facility		Filters the providers list to only show providers who are assigned to the selected facility.
By Expiration		Filters the providers list to only show providers whose privileges will expire in before the selected date.
By Color		Filters the providers list to only show providers whose names have been flagged by the selected color.
Active	(none)	Filters the providers list to only show providers whose privileges are currently active
Inactive	(none)	Filters the providers list to only show providers whose privileges are currently inactive
