If a privilege becomes obsolete or for some other reason is not wanted in Guardian, it can be
deleted, which completely removes it from Guardian, by following these steps:
WARNING:
Once a privilege is deleted, it cannot be "undeleted" or recovered. It will have to
be added back as a new privilege and assigned to each provider who has been granted the
privilege.
It is important to understand that deleting a privilege deletes it for EVERYONE, not just
a single provider.
1. Locate the privilege that you wish to delete in the Available Privileges list.
2. Click on the Delete button (
).
3. A warning will appear stating that deleting the privilege will completely remove it from Guardian
and unassign it from any providers who it may be assigned to.
4. If you really do want to delete the privilege, click the Yes button (
). The privilege
is now deleted.
5. If you do not really want to delete the privilege, click the No button (
). The
privilege will remain in Guardian just as it was before the Delete button was clicked.
