Guardian uses a standard popup calendar control as a date picker. This allows
quick and easy selection of dates. You may alternatively type a valid date into the
date field without using the calendar control.
Activating the Date Picker
To activate a date picker, click on the 
portion of the date field.
This will cause the calendar to appear with the date in the date field selected.
Selecting a Date
To select a date in the month displayed, simply click on the date number. The calendar will close
and the new date will be displayed in the date picker and the calendar will disappear.
Changing months
To select the next month in the calendar, click on the 
button.
To select the previous month in the calendar, click on the 
button.
Selecting a Month
A month can be selected directly by clicking on the currently selected month
name. A list of all months will appear and a month can then be selected by
clicking on the desired month's name.
Selecting a Year
A year can be selected by continuously clicking on the 
button until December is passed,
bringing the calendar into a new year.A year may also be selected by clicking on the year
currently displayed in a calendar which causes 
buttons to be displayed. The desired year may
then be selected by clicking the up arrow button to selected the next higher year or the down
arrow button to select the next lower year.
In cases where certain dates are not allowed (such as expiration dates), the
date picker will not allow a disallowed date to be selected.
