Guardian Provider Tab

Provider List  Lists all providers currently in the Guardian system. This list may be filtered using the Filter Bar on the far left of the screen or Filter As You Type to help narrow down the list to of providers making locating their information much easier.

The Provider List allows you to flag any list item with custom formatting. This provides an easy to use mechanism for marking individual providers or groups of providers with meaningful formatting. For example, you may wish to highlight all providers who have temporary privileges with a yellow background, and all providers with pending requirements in italics.

graphic Formatting applied in the Providers List is not published and does not change the way Guardian handles the provider in any way, it is simply a way to provide visual information that is useful in managing provider and privileges. This allows you to use formatting in any way that helps provide at-a-glance information without affecting the published privileges.

To apply formatting to an individual provider in the Providers List, follow these steps:

1.   Select the provider you wish to format by clicking on it with the left mouse button:

Hint Multiple formats may be applied to the same provider in the Providers list. Any combination of Text Color, Background Color, Bold, and Italics can be used together. The only exception to this is that you cannot set the foreground and background colors the same since this would make the name invisible.

Hint NOTE: Once providers have their text color set, you can filter the Providers List to show only providers with a certain color text. For more information on this, see the topic Filter List.
